BE SO SELFISH® Return & Refund Policy
At BE SO SELFISH®, every product is carefully crafted for personal use and comes into direct contact with the skin. For hygiene, safety, and quality assurance reasons, all sales are considered final.
We appreciate your understanding as this policy protects the integrity of our products and the safety of every customer.
🚫 Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of personal care and beauty products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any items, including unused or unopened products.
👗 Apparel Exception (House Gowns & Wearables)
Apparel items are eligible for size exchanges only under the following conditions:
• Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery
• Item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
• Original tags and packaging must be attached
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
• Exchanges are subject to product availability
We do not offer refunds on apparel items.
If the requested size is unavailable, a store credit will be issued.
**BE SO SELFISH® reserves the right to refuse apparel exchanges that show signs of wear, fragrance, deodorant marks, or washing.
✅ Order Errors & Damaged Items (Exceptions)
We will gladly correct mistakes made during fulfillment.
You may qualify for a replacement or refund if:
• You received the wrong item
• Your order arrived damaged
• Your item has a manufacturing defect
To Request Assistance:

• Order number
• Clear photos of the item(s)
• Photos of packaging and shipping box
Requests submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible.
If approved, we will:
• Replace the item at no cost, or
• Issue a refund or store credit (at our discretion)

• Shipping fees are non-refundable

• We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked "Delivered"
• Customers are responsible for accurate shipping addresses at checkout
• Returned packages due to incorrect addresses may require additional postage to reship

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your candle, please follow these essential care instructions:
1. Trim the Wick:
• Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch in length. This helps to prevent excessive smoking and ensures a clean, even burn. Dispose of any trimmed wick fragments properly, away from the wax.
2. Remove Wick "Cauliflower":
• During extended burning periods, a "cauliflower" may form at the end of the wick. Before relighting the candle, gently remove this buildup with a tissue paper to minimize soot production. Remember, the wax itself does not produce any soot.
3. Allow Initial Burn:
• When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the entire surface of the wax has melted. This helps to establish a full melt pool and prevents tunneling, ensuring an even burn throughout the life of the candle.
4. Limit Burn Time:
• Avoid burning the candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time. This practice helps to prevent overheating of the container and ensures safe, efficient burning.
5. Supervise Burning:
• Never leave a burning candle unattended, and always keep it out of reach of children and pets. Safety should always be most important when enjoying candles in your home.
6. Avoid Drafts:
• Place your candle in a draft-free area, as drafts can disrupt the flame and lead to uneven burning. This simple precaution helps to maintain a steady, consistent burn for optimal fragrance dispersion.
